The Northern Kid
Commission a portrait
To raise awareness for protecting wild animals through art, while celebrating the ones you’ve raised at home: your pets.
Painting nature and wildlife to remind us what’s worth protecting.
The ones we cuddle at home are family too. They deserve to be celebrated, and protected.
Giving back to the rescues and sanctuaries doing the hard work.
We value the well-being of every creature in this world, not only humans. Our concern for animals who have been abused and neglected has driven The Northern Kid from the very beginning, and it will keep driving us into the future.
Animals are creation waiting to be freed and reconnected with. They carry unspoken stories that need to be told. So we paint them, pets and wildlife alike, one story at a time.
Together, we can help end the suffering and pain some animals face at the hands of some (not cool) people.
I’m the painter behind The Northern Kid. I believe every animal has an unspoken story, and that the ones we cuddle at home are family worth protecting. Every piece is made by hand in British Columbia. [A few lines in your own words: how you started painting animals, and what you love about it.]
